Gossip Girl

I used to not understand what's the craze all about when it comes to the series GG... so I borrowed it from a friend and started watching it... I got suck into it! :p

Gossip Girl is an American teen drama television series based on the book series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar. Narrated by the omniscient yet unseen blogger "Gossip Girl", voiced by Kristin Bell, the series revolves around the lives of privileged teenagers attending an elite private school in New York City's Upper East Side. The series began with the mysterious arrival of bad girl turned good Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), who attempts to start a new page in her life with her friends and family, starting a relationship with Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), an outsider who becomes a part of the turbulent Manhattan scene. Gossip Girl also features Serena's best friend and ally Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), a beautiful Queen Bee of Manhattan's social scene. As of the third season, students who graduated from high school navigate their way through the real world or university. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gossip_Girl_(TV_series)]

Who Ordered This Truckload of Dung?

Am reading this book and I have to say, it's positively different and it's... you gotta read it for yourself. It has many short stories, which gives us a deeper understanding of wisdom, compassion, and mindfulness with a pinch of humor :) As I am reading it... it seems like I have open up myself to more happiness, goodness, and kindness...

I just love it... very different from my usual chic lits :)

The feeling of writing...

I wonder why sometimes i don't write at all... but when I do... I just go on and on...

I guess when I write something, its something I really really wanna share... knowing myself... if I make myself write everyday, I might write a lot of unimportant stuff that are good to know and not need to know ;)

But I applaud bloggers who could write beautiful and insightful things... I try... but... nah... I am more the last minute, all of a sudden, play by ear kinda blogger... I don't consider myself a blogger... my blogs are more of a way of me telling my stories, sharing what I know, sharing how I feel or wanna do in that period of time... or just blah stuff...

Oh, by the way, a best friend of mine is getting married soon! Am so excited for her :) Yay! - You see there, I just did one out of the blue thingy :)

Anyway, everyone, have fun, take care, be good and stay out of trouble! ;)

Q's of Ms Thirdwheel...

I really can't understand why Ms Thirdwheel would still cause problems?

What is she thinking?

What was the boyfriend thinking?

How mean can someone be?

What does Ms Thirdwheel expect out if this?

How can my friend hold on?

Does Ms Thirdwheel not have any pride?

Why did she get personal when it started as a birthday invitation?

I bet she will find something extra to complaint, if she reads this blog or finds out about this blog :p

All the women who has this sort of third wheels in their life, need not to worry... what goes around, comes around :)

Third wheel strikes again

Just heard from my friend... I can't believe her boyfriend's female best friend, Ms Thirdwheel, strike again... this time, she sounded like a cuckoo person...

1st - she complained about my friend putting her on limited profile on FB... I think that everyone has the right to do whatever they want with their profile. So why did the third wheel complained?

2nd - she complained that my friend did not wish her happy birthday this year, so she is not gonna do so nor is she gonna even attend her birthday dinner... my friend said Ms Thirdwheel was away during her birthday, she could have messaged her, but she did not because the third wheel ignored my friend whenever she sees my friend online... so, if I were my friend, I would also keep quiet and not say anything because when people are ignoring you, you will not go approach that person, cause you have your pride as well... isn't it?

3rd - she complained that she bought my friend flowers last year for her birthday, why my friend did not wish her... I seriously find this insane... if a bouquet of flowers meant so much to you, I would on behalf of my friend, buy 10 bouquets so that you can shut it. Don't you think this is petty?

4th - she complained that my friend uses whatever she says to argue with her best friend who is also my friends boyfriend... why does she even care? Yes she used to but now no longer because they communicate with each other. What does it even have to do with her?

5th - she asked the best friend why he only has his girlfriends best interest but not hers... Hello!!! She is the girlfriend and you are just the best friend... You need someone to point that out to you, Ms Thirdwheel?

6th - she asked the best friend why is he forcing her to go for the girlfriends birthday while he did not force the girlfriend to go for her birthday dinner... for her information, they met up without telling the girlfriend, YES!, they met up without my friends knowledge. So who should be angry now?

7th - she said she does not want to attend the girlfriends birthday dinner because he invited another best friend's girlfriend, whom she does not like as well... You see, they are three best friends - a female and 2 males... de female is Ms Thirdwheel, 2 males are my friends boyfriend (best friend no 1) and another guy (best friend no 2, who was invited together with his girlfriend for the dinner)... so back to the story, Ms Thirdwheel was mad that best friend no 1 invited best friend no 2's girlfriend, whom she does not like as well... BUT these two girlfriends, get along very well... So who is the one with the problem now?

My advice to Ms Thirdwheel would be, either you be happy for your friend or leave them alone. They are individuals, they cannot attend to your whims and fancies as you like... they have their own life, their own girlfriends, and their own families soon because both of your best buddies are marrying their girlfriends. One is this year and another one soon. So to prevent your best friends from someday ignoring you due to your crazy attitude, learn to get along or stay alone.

Engagement

So much to do with so little time!

I just received the timetable for my September semester, which is starting next week... gosh! So fast 3 weeks have passed but I seem to not have done much! I guess I was busy with helping sis move and meeting up with friends and most importantly.... my lazin moments! ;)

Well... classes are starting soon... I am gonna be back in those tight schedules... and I still have a bunch of friends to meet and oh oh... my engagement is next week too! Uh oh... should i skip this semester, take one paper or take two papers? Hmmm...

Birthday... :) sweet 28!

Celebrated my birthday over the weekend... was a very different n simple one, which I told my fiance I wanted :)

Was dinner and drinks at an Italian restaurant just opposite my house :) we can even walk there!

Simple celebration with my family, my fiance and two close friends... dinner was great and drinks were more than enough... though I had wine, a flaming and a tequila shot... I was fine, luckily, and we still get to chat and laugh the whole night :)

It was a good one!

Semester break...

This is the first week of my semester break... have not done anything interesting except lazing, which I don't normally do since I have not the time... but its been kinda nice... Been thinking of what i can do during this break. But there's only two weeks left till school starts again...

Talking about school, am thinking whether I should take this semester or skip it. The wedding is coming and I need to look good and not tired as I always do, or sick or busy and so on... If i skip this semester, I will have to take 3 papers again for 2 semesters... but if i do take this semester, I might not get to rest enough for the big day and my wedding is in the middle of classes and then finals after 2 weeks of my wedding... so am still thinking about it...

Neway, back to semester break, am thinking of meeting up some friends... but those I wanna meet are not in Malaysia... well except one... I shall call her... but the rest are in Singapore and US... I can't even have one hen's night in one country... my friends all over have invited me - US, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Australia... but I just want one in KL if need to... nothing huge, no silly stuff, just girls having a drink (no getting drunk, do not like that) and have clean fun ;)... simple and nice is my idea of a good hen's night (for me at least) But not everyone is able to be here... I shall pass...

Next week is my birthday... just wanna have a simple dinner with family... simple again... I guess it's age or its just me having enough of parties and all... :) Anyway, shall tell my fiance about it before he plans something with friends and all... Ish! Back to work now...
