Changes

People always say, "Make sure he is the right one", "Make sure she will care for you through thick and thin." How can we ever make sure when people are constantly changing as the earth is moving? We can never keep up with the changes, but can learn to dance along with it. If your partner used to not mind you not having a job, later he or she might mind... then you might say "I finally see his/her true colors." Is it really their colors? Again... we will never know... true colors are not true anymore when people are constantly changing as they live each day...

You might have experienced a time where you felt your partner no longer has respect for you and tend to do whatever they like, without telling you, what more consulting you. Pause and think... are you dependent on them? If you are, you better get up and get the ball rolling. Do something with your life. Never show your partner that you can't stand alone without them. Of course it'll sound sweet to say "I can't live without you" "My life is complete now with you in it" and so on. Yeah, but reality is not the same as fairytale.

When you first met, even your fart might smell like roses to your partner or its funny when you do that fart sound in front of them... but after a while... the joke is no longer funny. It is becoming annoying and the way you breathe is even noisy now in their opinion. Again... this is because people change... nobody will stay the same forever. If you can't fight them, join them... but one thing to always keep in mind, you can never change a person, but only the way you deal with him/her or the situation.

Changes are bound to happen, even in those you love the most or trust the most. But its not the end of the world. Either you stand strong to your principles or just let yourself cry. Personal opinion, I might be wrong, financial independence is power, and power is respect, and respect is freedom...
