New Year (2009-2010)

I've never believed in resolution(s)... because I tend to not follow them :p

However, this does not hinder me from having a good time during New Years... instead of planning one this year, am gonna go for those New Year parties held in hotels. They are fun and nothing much needs to be done.... except getting dolled up for the party... eat, drink and have fun... at the end of the party, I need not to drive home, but just get back upstairs to my hotel room and have a gooooood rest ;)

Now... what am I gonna wear... ;)

X'mas is coming!

The year end is the most happy times of the year because of Christmas and also the New Year... many celebrations, parties, food & drinks, gatherings, and fun!

Things to prepare for X'mas:
1. Christmas tree
2. Ornaments
3. Lights
4. Presents
5. Recipes for - Thanksgiving dinner / lunch
6. Decorations
7. Outfits ;)
8. Parties!!!

Some items mentioned above can be made by yourself if you have the time :), such as

Waiting...

Read this book many years back... introduced to many of my friends and most of them gave me good feedback ;) So am now introducing to the rest, if you all don't already know.

The plot revolves around the fortunes of three people: Lin Kong, the army doctor; his wife Shuyu, whom he has never loved; and his girlfriend at the hospital where he works, the nurse Manna Wu. Beginning in 1963 and stretching over a twenty-year period, Waiting is set against the background of a changing Chinese society. It contrasts city and country life and shows the restrictions on individual freedoms that are a routine part of life under communism. ButWaiting is primarily a novel of character. It presents an in-depth portrait of a decent but deeply flawed man, Lin Kong, whose life is spoiled by his inability to experience strong emotions and to love wholeheartedly.

Married life...

It's been a while ;) yeap... registered our marriage on the 3rd of November :)

Everybody kept asking me, whether there is any difference after getting married? I'd say no... I guess we've been living with each other for so many years. We sorta like married even before being legally married. So when now that we are, it does not feel a thing.... wait... except we feel more responsible towards each other because this is for real :p

But I've also been hearing and reading about married life... some say
1) its very different, it's not what you expect.... (come to think of it, what do people expect? I wonder)
2) they don't care anymore
3) they become worse
4) it's not a bed of roses (life is not a bed of roses)
5) they criticize you
6) they don't take you out anymore
7) they are not proud of you anymore.... (and the list just goes on...)

But I think it's all what you make out of it. It's not all in your control, but you can still control how you feel and deal with things ;)
