Me, My-chick lits, and I-ce cream?

Yay!!! It's Friday... done with my semester exams last week. Thus, am having my semester break... this feels good having time to laze, meeting up with friends, spending time with loved ones, and reading my favorite chick lits!

Started reading this one called Who's That Girls by Alexandra Potter...
Thirty-one year old Charlotte Merryweather is a glowing example of the modern woman, a successful businesswoman who owns and runs her own PR company, living in a smart flat in London, with a fabulous sports car and a property developer boyfriend. Her day starts at six in the morning and a work out with her personal trainer, before a busy day filled with business lunches with top flight journalists, meetings with prospective clients, cocktail party press launches and dinner with Miles, her boyfriend. Sounds perfect? Charlotte is stressed out, always tired, a glutton for self help books (familiar...) on how to perfect her life, and has migrated from her dream of becoming a writer in favor of financial stability. So when she follows a diversion because of road works and finds herself face-to-face with her twenty-one year old self, she realizes she has the perfect opportunity to undo some of the mistakes she made ten years ago. Like, seriously, Imagine if you could meet your younger self... I'll freak out for sure...

Another one by her, which I find even more interesting was called Be Careful What You Wish For.
Heather Hamilton is always wishing for things (who doesn't?!). Not just big stuff - like world peace, or that Brad Pitt wants her as his next leading lady - but little, everyday wishes made without thinking. With her luck, she knows they'll never come true... Until one day she buys some heather from a gypsy. Suddenly the bad hair days stop. A handsome American answers her ad for a housemate. She starts seeing James - The Perfect Man who sends her flowers, excels in the bedroom, and isn't afraid to say "I love you". But are these wishes-come-true a blessing or a curse? Does getting what you want make you happy? And is there such a thing as too much foreplay? So... the moral of the story is, next time when you make a wish to strike a lottery, make sure you make a complete wish i.e. "I wish that I will win a lottery and will be able to enjoy spending some of the money and keep the rest" :)

Adieu!
